Excellent service and very friendly salon

I would recommend Katie to anyone. I've almost never been this consistently happy with my hair. The colour, the cut, the tone. I can tell that Katie is well trained, particularly on colour and my dark hair is very grateful for her! Before Katie joined the salon I went to a different stylist in this salon and both times I had a bad result! High volume bleach damaged my hair and each time the toners washed out within 2 washes. But, now that I've found Katie, I wouldn't go to anyone else.

I actually booked for my daughter. She enjoyed the whole experience. Ellie was friendly, chatty and made Ariya feel at ease. Explaining everything. You could tell Ellie is very experienced I would give her 10/10.

Fantastic experience at Headfirst as I had my hair colored and cut, and the result is stunning. The stylists here really listen to what you want and offer great advice. What I love most is how great they are with children. My kids actually look forward to getting their hair done here because the staff is so patient and welcoming. Five stars from our whole family!" Had the best experience with Zoe for my Kera Smooth treatment.She was so professional, patient, and really understood what my hair needed. Stephen has worked his magic again! He manages to turn my post menopausal scarecrow hair, into silken golden hair. Stephen is always ready to listen to what I’m thinking and gives great advice on colours and treatments

I had an amazing experience with Stephen at Head First. He suggested new ideas for my hair and explained what would suit me best. The head massage was absolutely heavenly! Highly recommend!

Visited today after a well overdue colour, greys around hairline particularly bad as well as those annoying salt n pepper strands that come with having dark hair. Usually I have dark smudge of colour close to my roots but today Zoe and I decided we would skip the dark and try out highlights without the root smudge. Zoe’s was amazing as always - with my hair being very dark naturally it alway pulls a lot of warmth but Zoe wouldn’t let me leave until we were both 100% happy even if it meant having to redo the toner (3 times) to calm down the brassiness…she got it bang on, all with a smile on her face and not once made me feel like it was a problem. She definitely takes pride in her work and as a just in case she said to give her a call if I decided I wanted my dark roots back just before I left. Wouldn’t go anywhere else tbh - not sure if I will stick to just highlights or go back to a having a dark root smudge over them yet or not but my grey/salt and pepper is gone and my hair looks amazing, lovely trim (just enough to keep it looking healthy) and a perfect blow dry to match! Thanks Zoe and the team at HeadFirst - highly recommended and I have to say, I am a rather fussy customer but always happy when I leave which says a lot!

Another great visit with Richard….. love the Salon and the Stylists who work there. Also, the online booking system for me is a game changer, no more messing about with phone calls, I can see Richard’s availability easily!

I’ve recently started going to this hairdressers and booked a blow dry without knowing who I’d be seeing. I honestly feel so lucky because I ended up with the most amazing stylist, Jasmin. She really listens to what you want and makes sure you leave the salon genuinely happy with your hair. Nothing ever feels like too much effort for her and she takes such care with every detail. My cut and balayage has honestly never looked this good. I leave feeling fab every single time. The salon has a really friendly atmosphere and I love the Latte’s. Highly recommend asking for Jasmin if you can!
